Much like it was decided in last years semifinal game.dump and chase wrote:Hockeyjunkie2- Were you at the game? Apple valley's first two lines were dead in the third they couldnt get up and down the ice.. Need to have confidence in playing all three lines if they are going to take down woodbury.. The third line has some speed but it is tough to use it when the coach keeps you on the bench..Someone mentioned earlier about AV needs to roll 3 lines or they will be in trouble. In the Eagan/AV game both teams at the end were only rolling through their top 2 lines so it was just matching up. Apple Valley will need to avoid stupid penalties they took one against Eagan but have taken some throughout the year as well.
Goaltending will decide this game two good ones in Ness and Gretz!
3AA Final #3 Woodbury vs. #4 Apple Valley

Woodbury is on a mission this year
Woodbury is on a mission, Ness is the difference maker in this one though, WOODBURY 3 Apple Valley 1.

Nice to see that Woodbury junior Christian Turner has been able to dress and warm up with the team in both the quarterfinals and semifinals.

Sad night for the Woodbury team which is almost all seniors. I think it will be many moons before you see a Woodbury team finish above .500. ER will probably be better than them next year.Goldfishdude wrote:Fasching his 2nd, and now Valley gets another at 7:13 of 3rd..
3-0 Apple Valley... Tough to see our SEC teams fold.... Sounds like Woodbury ran into a pretty tough goalie...

Apple Valley just knocked Woodbury hockey back to the dark ages. Only 2 returning players next year. And the pipeline of Woodbury Bantam A talent going to East Ridge is 2 or 3 times bigger than the pipeline going to Woodbury High School. Bolin knows this and will most likely go somewhere else.HappyHockeyFan wrote:yeah me too..feel bad for all those seniors..Goldfishdude wrote:4-0 Valley... Michaelson, I believe empty netter.. You're right, HHF.... Awesome time of year.
I was pulling for the Royals...
As far as the seniors on the team, unfortunately they have a long history of "not getting it done" when playoff time rolls around.
