Jefferson vs Edina
I thought Jefferson would have had a better showing against Edina this year. I guess not. Look for a Edina and Tonka match up. Tonka should be atop the bracket as a #1 seed and Edina will be at the bottom as a #2 seed.

No, take away last seaon when EP won the state tournament and the Lake is 6-21 at the state tournament since 2002, 2 of those wins are over other Lake teams, 3 against 1 team, Elk River. Take away the games where Lake teams played each other and the Lake has a .173 winning percentage in St Paul. (as a comparison Big Nine teams have a .286 winning percentage during that span)HShockeywatcher wrote:The Lake isn't overrated, Jefferson is overrated...for the second year in a row.slapstkhound wrote:The Lake is ALWAYS overrated IMHOgoldy313 wrote:The two supposed biggest games are both blowouts, either the Lake is overated again or the rest of the state is in trouble.

Impressive post Goldy. Good research and stats. I am sure a few Lake faithful will be tearing you apart in 3-2-1......goldy313 wrote:No, take away last seaon when EP won the state tournament and the Lake is 6-21 at the state tournament since 2002, 2 of those wins are over other Lake teams, 3 against 1 team, Elk River. By not overrated, I wasn't trying to imply that they were good at all. With the exception of EP, who is a top 5 school, the conference as a whole is not that highly rated. Sure, Jefferson is usually pretty good, and a couple teams show up who can play every year, but the conference as a whole is not "rated" very highly from where I stand.ACTUALFORMERPLAYER wrote:Same time period the Mariucci has a .60 winning percentage.curtiscurve wrote:Impressive post Goldy.
