As stated in another thread. Great game, but not the HS hockey game of the night... (that happened in Wisconsin)

This is where I got my info from:

But you are right, 51+8+17+8+17+8+2:58=111:58

Not quite the record. Oh well.

I never said I was right. I was going off incorrect information. Which is why I asked if what I did was right. But okay, I was wrong =D>

Now this is Wisconsin, so remember it is B league hockey:

Here's the story: #1 seed Superior (THE hockey powerhouse in WI) faced off with a #5 seed River Falls team. The game was 1-1 through regulation with the RF goal coming off a faceoff with 3 seconds left in the 2nd. The goal was scored as the buzzer sounded. 5 overtimes later, and after a RF slapper broke the glass to give the teams a much needed rest, Superior scored the winner. They have gone to state 8 years in a row now, so that would have been a GIGANTIC upset.

Again, I know its B league WI hockey, but that must have been an epic game!

No, they were the format above. I broadcast the game on KBUN-AM 1450, and the Bemidji Pioneer concurs with my timing at 111:58

Think of it like Edina going 5 0Ts with Chaska.

There was more riding on the game in WI, that's why it was a significantly bigger/better game. The MN game was nice, but it isn't going to affect the state tourny.

I wouldn't worry about it to much. It happens a lot more than you think.
