OK, it's not gonna happen, so back on topic ...

Looks like things could be very interesting. The ice was good as of Friday, but it isn't looking so good for Saturday. Hopefully it's cold enough on top of the hill to keep the rain away!

Old School Hockey

Post by Lakeviewing »

If the potential weather conditions exists at gametime, just brings be back to my old school hockey days. I remember playing games and practicing on outdoor ice. Some good outdoor ice conditions, but many really bad outdoor ice conditions. I had an old, catholic priest that coached my team and was on the ice in practices in boots, just to show where the game has gone to. I am sure the EP parents have suburbans with a GPS. I like Hermantown to compete here at home, but give EP a very slight edge in talent. Should be fun to watch.

If the weather up there is anything like the weather in the Cities today, I wouldn't put too much importance on the outcome of this game, assuming they even play it.

Glad to see the weather held for game 1. Ice looked very good. They should drop the puck for game 2 ASAP!! Get them in while they can, weather is brutal just a little west of Hermantown. Raining like crazy.

don't agree with there decision to play outside, with it raining , the only good period was the third when the ice held up, the first 2 were junk proving nothing I guess they will do anything for tv.
