TTpuck - can't wait to hear how the game looked. Roseau is nice and warm can't wait till you get here!
Shots:

EGF: 42
Edina: 28

Edina had more quality shots than EGF.
1. Hard time believing that edina gave up 42 shots...
2 Hard time believing that EGF only put one past the Goalie on 42 Shots
3. I see EGF dipping in the Rankings unless they come out of their pool in Roseau... should be an interesting weekend for the Green Wave

Kinda like the Dallas Cowboys had the territorial edge on the Vikings last weekend.
the Dallas Cowpokes had the territorial edge?

I guess we didn't watch the same game.

Not the same in the EGF vrs Edina game.

Maybe none of you remember last year when the Roseau PWA team took some lumps during the season, but by the end, who won the state tournament?

This weekend will be a start in that direction.
Your right, Dallas did not have a "territorial edge". I was being ironic, the irony is that neither Dallas or EGF had a "territorial edge" in a game where both teams were destroyed by their opposition. Does that help?

So TTPuckster (or shall we call you Keith Brookings), best of luck in the tournament to this kids.

Oh, by the way, are you taking Wisc. Guy up on his bet? I didn't catch your response to that issue.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......
Scores from earlier this year:

Eden Prarie 4 - 1 - Edina Dec 8th
Eden Prarie 2 - 1 - Edina Dec 22nd
Elk River 7 - 4 - Edina Oct 31st

I know that Eden Prarie and Elk River are darn good Pee Wee teams.
What say you now?

Well, I guess maybe Edina should also now fall in the ratings.

I'll keep repeating this to you.
This is Pee Wees.
More so than Bantams and High School, from Day to Day, the teams are more unpredictable.

EGF is still in the running.

Hockey 301.

I believe you should change your name to Hockey 101.

If you have played any hockey, you would know that sometimes a team can have a very strong territorial edge, and a large edge in shots and still lose the game.

There is this thing called a goalie, for one thing.

I have played in many games where we dominated on the ice but suffered from not putting the puck in the net.
Sometime losing by several goals.

And, I have been on the other side of that tale.

Obviously you are a big Edina fan, (fantastic Pee Wee A team by the way), or you don't like EGF, whatever.

I plan to support the Green Wave in this great tournament being put on by the Roseau community.

Bon' chance to your hornets. Image

That is cool.. good to hear.. I always like when northern teams get quality wins. I was a little worried when they were blown out last night.

EP is a quality win. I think they were ranked 7 or 8 and could beat any of the top 5 on any given day.

Didn't anybody watch Color of Money? EGF shows up in T-shirts that say VINCE, tank a scrimmage, then The Puckster cleans up on side bets at the rink. Well played, very well played.

Heard this rumor that District 6 is getting their paws into it again and will force Edina to forfeit. Any news?
Some district 6 egos have their panties in a knot and have been trying to settle personal scores my mis-representing MN rules to shut out Tier 1 AAA teams in Minnesota Hockey Tournaments.

However, this same Edina team faced a Tier 1 AAA team in it's first game of it's first Tournament this season up in Duluth and they did not have to forfeit.

Not sure why this would be any different, but wouldn't put anything past the D-6 yahoos who are behind this pettiness

I wanted to save WG some money.

I'm sure he will be very quiet latetly now that his ER team just lost to EGF.

A very loud CONGRATULATIONS to EGF for handily defeating Elk River. Good luck.

I am going to have my meal of crow now.

I heard the same, if any D6 team plays the Fire in a tournament they would have to forfeit or forfeit prior district games and jeopardize state tournament play.

Just kidding WG.

Pee Wee teams can be very unpredictable. To me, that's what makes watching the games so good.

Good luck to ER also.

Roseau Update

Wisconsin Fire 6
Woodbury 2

Edina 10
East Grand Forks 1

(although EGF again out shot them and held the territorial edge)

Taco was making a prediction. Look at the time stamp.

Championship Edina versus the Wisconsin Fire.

Edina beat EGF 10-1 this time.
I don't have the Fire/Woodbury score yet.
