Duluth East vs. Holy Angels 12/30

Post by starmvp »

Both struggled the first two games of the Schwans Cup. I am going with Duluth East, only because Holy Angels needs some time to recover.

I have to disagree. AHA comes out and plays like they are capable.

AHA

Both teams are in need of a win. DE always seems to struggle in the Schwan's cup. I'm going with AHA in a offensive display by both teams, 6-4.

With the the opening of the new DECC rink next year, maybe a northern holiday event is in order.

Anyone ready to promote the event with plasma guy? boblee?, karl(east)?, lee?

Not sure how losing 3-6 both games (especially to a team East throttled) is coming out more capable than East.. I would take a 3-0 (en) loss, with all the goals in the 3rd, to mean a hard fought game, but in which pressure was taken off at the end.
I would say this is a tossup.
Go Hounds.

HM won every part of today's game. East really struggled - they could not put things together at the Excel. Tough game to watch. Let's hope tomorrow vs AHA is better.

Whoops - check the change.

I feel as though those top 5 teams in the state are just at the next level, so the Edina's and Hill's will beat up on even the good teams.

I think this matchup is pretty even, but AHA is reeling in a loss to WBL, while East has beaten WBL.

I look for a 4-2 East win with EN...

SCORE UPDATE for East JV..

Beat WBL 2-0 w EN.... Pretty disciplined team....

Stars Falling

Looks like and 0 and 3 tournament will drop the Stars from the top 10.
East takes them 3 -2 today.
