BL5 - I was wrong and will admit that I drank the koolaid, however this team will still implode. You have seen the other posts on them as well have seen it first hand. Just let the coach coach your kid this year. 8) You will have him soon enough!!!
Was Roo a 2nd year Bantam last season?

OK...From what I understand, he's a freshman at TG this year, meaning he must've played up a year in youth hockey, right?

What associations lost A Bantams to High School? How many? How much will this effect the team?

St.Cloud - didn't loose enough to high school to fall off
Blaine - tied StCloud
Centennial - played good teams and got better
Andover - we will find out in the next few days if they belong

Average teams
Anoka - with 4 losses already they are out

Elk River - some close games, but out matched in size and speed
Princeton - playing tough, but still not a top A team

Thanks for letting us work on our game for an hour or two
Rogers - they have a great Var/JV team this year
Champlin Park - plain
CINB - Should have stayed at B hockey
Spring Lake Park - not even a ex-pro can turn that group around

Coon Rapids 4
CINB 2

SLP 7
CINB 4

CINB is improving and should get a couple wins in D-10 before the season is over.

That's good news! You are asking a individual from the outside, but I would have to suspect they could not match your comment regarding the B2's

As predicted, CINB is struggling. Blame the board and associations for these kids to be playing up a level...Do they not want the kids to ever experience winning?? Unbelievable!!!

On the bright side, Lost 4-2 to Champlin Park. CINB had a 2-0 lead and gave up 4 goals in the second period. Improved play compared to first meeting
7-1 loss

Lost 8-0 To Blaine. Gave up 2 short handed goals and a defenseman had his pocket picked for another goal...Could have been 5-0
Hats off to Blaine coach for tossing his player #8 ( checking from behind)
No need for that when your up by multiple goals...
Improved play compared to first meeting 11-0,
Blaine is strong!

Blaine lost their Fair play point too. will hurt them in the end of season
point tally...

Up next for CINB - @ Princeton , @ Spring Lake Park...
Go Wild!!

Wow are you this negative around your kid? You obviously did not watch the CINB game against Champlin Park if you still think they shouldn't be A. I was there and I saw a dramatic change from the first time CINB played us. Why don't you go watch a B1 game and tell me if you still think your team should be B1. I heard the Coon Rapids game was really close too.

Same player (#8 from Blaine) checked one ours from behind and gave him seven stitches to the head. No penalty was called until they stopped play to clean the blood off the ice. I'm glad to see the Blaine coaches trying to correct this.

Hockeymom 44, did you even read my post??? what was negitive??

I said Improved play!! sure we are getting better, but still winless...
0-11. My son loves playing on this team and we support him...

It just gets old when you pay all this money for a season where getting a few wins seems almost impossible. Just getting tired of watching this great group of kids lose ALL the time. You know it's sad when you are happy losing 4-2. What ever happened to playing to get a win?

I know it's all about development at this age, But i'd like to see them enjoy the experience of beating a team sometime this year!

Good luck to you and yours!!

Really? did i sound negitive? I said improved play didn't i??

Let's see your kids team go winless and and then let me know what that's like...K? sure we played a much better game against you guys, and i think we would play good against the B1 teams too. Like centennial red and elk river would diffinately give us a run for our money and maybe even Chisago lakes ... At least at that level the kids would be winning.

As a parent, it gets frustrating shelling out $4000 a year to watch the kids lose. If your losing every game maybe we should be playing down a level is my only point. And your right, the kids are getting better.

It is what it is and i hope they can experience getting a win or 2 in districts this year! Till then, everybody is licking their chops cause we are on the schedule. I just love watching my son play and that's really all that matters!! Good luck to Champlin Park!! You have some nice players and Parents!!

Maybe your association can charge you by the win?!?!

Instead of complaining on this forum start looking at A Bantam game scores and start looking for some teams to scrimmage that you will be competitive with. They are out there.

Good luck, sounds like your boys are improving and I a sure your HS coach is smiling....

Maybe your team should find matched teams or scrimmage top b1 teams so coaches and board hopefully don't make this mistake next year looking at district 10 out of all 11 travel teams the b1 squirts are the only team to post more than 2 wins. A and B1 bantam are combined 0-18-0 and peewee A and b1 peewee are no wins either, they can't do this to these kids another year and if a coach tell the parents he will have this team an A caliper team by the start of the season through diet and exercise hopefully the parents don't fall for that again, good effort but takes more than that. Hopefully its not bad enough to lose players next year from it.
