Thanks for the updates.

The score isn't too shocking, but I do not like that shot count at all.

It's surprising to me, this game shouldn't be so lopsided.

People will begin to know Zach Lavalle. Only a 9th grader and having a real nice season so far. The kid made the jump from Peewees to Varsity last year (albiet, 4th line and played some JV). As long as HM continues to get production from their 3rd line they will be tough.

He's really panning out to be a great player so far this season, I'm excited to see how he looks at the end of his 4 years.

Maybe he'll be on the Mr. Hockey list with the current freshman from Minnetonka.

5-1 Final; shots were 35-21.

If my memory is correct, East has had two losses over the past five years by more than 3 points. Both have been 5-1 Schwan Cup losses to Hill-Murray.

This tournament has not been kind to East. Yes, Edina and Hill are better, but this one wasn't close.

Interesting little game in the Schwan Cup toilet bowl tomorrow between East and AHA.

To you maybe, but I would think the Tonka vs STA is a whole lot more interesting, as is Blaine vs Edina.

Well, I think all the games left in the Schwan Cup Gold are interesting. :D

The East-AHA game intrigues me because I have no clue what's going to happen, WBL-Hill is always worth watching, and I wouldn't argue with someone who claims that Blaine, Edina, Tonka, and STA are the four best teams in the state.

Here's an idea; since Cloquet and Denfeld are already playing in the Heritage classic, put East in there. Invite Marshall; their tournament consists of basically bottom-feeders anyway (besides Marshall, of course). Now you have four teams the local populace would come out to see. Pull in four more from wherever you can steal.....errr......get them.
