Just a note about team records for KRACH. These will differ from "Overall" records as KRACH does NOT count games against non-MN teams in its "Record" for each team.

Also note that some holiday tourney games were decided in OT by SO. These games MUST go down as ties by MSHSL/Nat'l Federation rules, but the SO is used to determine advancement for tourney purposes only.

Multiple OT's are not an accepted tiebreaker until MSHSL/Nat'l Federation sanctioned section and state tourney play.

Just went and researched the Krach methodology a little bit - looks like good stuff. Perhaps not completely clean and some manual work needed, but I'm a numbers person, so I like the objectivity of it vs. LPH opinionated rankings. Now if we could only spruce it up a bit by adding margin-of-win/loss or intangibles such as injuries, empty-netters, home/away, etc. It would also be great if a "momentum" factor could be added. Teams get credit for wins/losses, but how about some extra credit/decrement for those on hot or cold streaks? Thanks, ghs, and keep up the good work!

What th Krach method needs is some AI to bring in the intuitive reasoning of the LPH method. This would get rid of the good-old-boy practices that develop on LPH.
