Elk River needs to beat more than Grand Rapids to prove they're legit after starting 3-0.

Edina wins 6-3.

Even though Edina immediately jumped out in front, the Elks controlled most of the first period. Edina steadily gained momentum from then on. The game was a bit closer than the score indicates, but Elk River does have some defensive issues to sort out if they want to compete with the top teams in the state. Taft made a lot of things happen for Edina.

Karl comes to town and makes the most of his visit with a trip to Edina? Great to hear.

Karl if you are at the AHA / ER game on Wednesday look me up. I will make ice after warm-ups for sure. Otherwise I will be on the left side of the student section in the corner.

Whoops, sorry to mislead you. I watched the game on myfoxhockey.com. I wish I could be there, but I'm still in Duluth.

Maybe not in person, but I guess you saw it. I am happy to be able to watch the wild game on TV and the St Thomas game online. Will be nice.
