Hill-Murray, St. Thomas & Mahtomedi are all going to be very good and will dominate the rest of the conference. I give the edge to STA. They have several of the top players & scorers in the Elite League and had the best JV team last year. Hill-Murray is a bit of an unknown. The kids made it to the state tournament last year. They have great defensemen but no big scorers. I was suprised Mahtomedi did not win the State A tournament last year. They were playing great at the end of the year and had clobbered HM on Feb 3 & STA in the section final.

1. St Thomas - will depth be an issue, who is out for 10 games ??
2. Tartan - return a strong lineup
3. Hill Murray - get the knock for the end conference record with the same squad
4. Mahtomedi - lost some point makers at forward, still have Marshall but injuries at the end of season and during Elite, could those get in the way
5. North St. Paul - have some nice talent, big, Rueby be enough?
6. South St.Paul - Wilcox cant score, will see 40-50+ shots on a regular basis
7. Richfield - how wmuch confidence with taht end of the season Hill win bring, but not much here realistically
8. Henry Sibley - mmmmeeeeehhh, here or last place??
9. Simley - here or 1 spot up??

South St. Paul although they are no where near the previous two years they will continue to be far from the bottom of the pack and may even pull a few upsets.
