Whos hot and Whos not-Bantam A
Who is playing at their highs and lows of the season right now when it counts most. Some teams get away with it in districts due to easy competition but who is gonna pay in regions.....predictions?

whos hot?
i'd say that jefferson is not hot, they only beat burnsville 3 to 2, thats a pretty close game for a team goin to regions.

who's not
Hopkins really isn't hot right now losing to BP and struggling to stay alive in the playoffs Still probably put them in the top 20 though but not according to MHJ

Re: who's not
for D4 i would say peewees new prague has got to be hot as well as mankato. with new prague coming off an upset against faribault

for bantams i would say owatonna is hot. with only 9 skaters the whole weekend and at sometimes 7 or 8 due to penalties they did a fantastic job. not hot teams even though going to regions i would say albert lea. they set the tone for regions by beating new ulm 6-2 after losing 3-2 the day before but we will see. albert lea and mankato need to learn to put the biscut in the basket.

Re: who's hot
I would say Jefferson is HOT just not as hot as they can be... any team that advances out of D6 is doing pretty well. EP is HOT and may be peaking at the right time having beaten Edina, Jefferson and Burnsville in District playoffs. Look for them to do some damage in Regions.

Whos hot and whos not
I would say Eden Prarie, Orono, Osseo, Edina(2 losses definately doesnt make them cold), White Bear, are all hot from what i have seen.

The only cold teams I know of are Hopkins and Maple Grove. Hopkins loses to BP and Maple Grove ties Armstrong and loses to Centennial and Osseo.

FYI Shattuck and Edina are the Power house teams at this age level in the state right now. I am not sure if they play each other but they both play this weekend at Cetennial

hopkins
im on the mahtomedi A bantam team and we just beat hopkins 1-0. Does anyone think this was a great win that could predict us to have a good season or was that win just a fluke?
