Tryouts for the Minnesota Icemen Hockey Club teams will be held in September. Exact dates and times can be found by visiting www.mnicemen.com and clicking on the Tryout Flyer on the home page.

The Tryout Process is as follows:

Step 1 – Registration: Strongly encourage all previous NON-MIHC players to register online by visiting www.mnicemen.com and clicking on the New Player Registration tab on the left navigation. We will accept walk-up registrations. A tryout fee of $25 will be collected at the New Player tryout.

Step 2 - Based upon the players age level, all NON-MIHC players (kids that did not play on the Icemen, Rockets or Ice Cougars in 2009) are required to participate in the New Player tryouts.

Step 3 – The evaluators and coaches will ask certain players to come back from the New Player tryout and skate at the Invite Player tryout. This tryout will include all or some of the 2009 MIHC players for that particular age group.

Step 4 – Player selections will be made and, depending upon each teams situation, there may be additional tryouts throughout the Fall and Winter.
