How can you say the BLADES had a good showing. They weren't even 500!!!
Besides the Alberta Brick team that won the whole thing got beat TWICE by the 99 MACHINE!! 6-2 and 7-4.

Maybe this Brick thing should be a Minnesota team, instead of a Blades, lets represent our state like every other state does open tryouts, and team is picked by NHL players who do not have kids on the team.

99 Machine beat Alberta Brick 7-6 and 5-3.

I do agree it would be nice to have a team selected from Top MN talent or at least let there be some MN qualifier.

99 Level is loaded with talent. Their a fun year to watch and be part of....

From what I heard, the Blades played well but had trouble scoring early in the tournament. Ten year old hockey is sometimes tough to figure out. The Machine beats team Brick Alberta twice, the Blades lose to team Brick Alberta, but the Blades beat the Machine 3 out of 4 games this season. Both the Machine and Blades are quality teams and seem to have a pretty good rivalry going. I agree that it would be nice to see a team Minnesota team go to the Brick but it doesn't seem likely since the leadership at Mn Made and the Blades are both too stubborn to work together.
