Well...
Cutler is back on the trading block, and I think it is time to act on it... bring him here, as it provides the Vikings w/ the missing piece from last year...
CBS Sportsline says...
Minnesota Vikings
The skinny: The Vikings were undone by their lack of quality quarterback play last year. They still made the playoffs, which said a lot about the talent on the roster. But can they really expect to win a title with Sage Rosenfels and/or Tarvaris Jackson? I think not. So they should dive in and make a play for Cutler. If they get him, they would be a real Super Bowl threat.
Chances of landing Cutler: Should be good, but something says the trade for Rosenfels is the last one they make at quarterback. I would trade Jackson, the No. 22 pick and a fourth-round pick to get Cutler.
No brainer in my book, but then again, we do have Chilly leading this team...

Don't you find it a little strange that this guy gets P.O.'d about the team exploring trade options, then throws a temper tantrum and demands to be traded (when that is what he was mad about in the first place), then won't return phone calls to the head coach or the owner? Oh and that other thing, his agent is the same Bus Cook that had all the headlines about Brett Favre.
I agree he is more talented than what is on the Vikings roster at this point but it has to make you wonder about what a pampered baby this kid really is.

Cutler is now in our division, and Chilly gets to play against him twice... we shall see...
Bears just traded for him, 2009 1st Rd pick & 2010 1st Rd pick & Kyle Orton... That is a lot for one player who has some good numbers, but limited winning experience...
I would still have liked Cutler over what we currently have at QB...
Time will tell...

We need someone who could actually throw the ball because all defenses do against us is play the run because we have Adrian Peterson and no QB. If we had a decent QB it would open up the passing game and it would open up running room for Adrian Peterson. We have the offensive line we just dont have the QB. Our run defense is one of the best so if we could get a QB we could actually be a Super Bowl contender.

Agree...I think the Chicago media may tear him a new one, after his first 2 int game. Vikes are in a short window to go to the big game, Im not confident they can get there w Chilli running the show.State Champ 97 wrote:Don't you find it a little strange that this guy gets P.O.'d about the team exploring trade options, then throws a temper tantrum and demands to be traded (when that is what he was mad about in the first place), then won't return phone calls to the head coach or the owner?
