My son & I showed up to watch this - one night down, 2 more to go.

Very interesting tryouts. He has played with and against a lot of these players - so he had to tell me who was on the ice.

I'm not namin' names, but I saw 8-10 players that were standouts.

I wish all the districts would tryout the same weekend. I feel now that other districts will have a few more practices to learn chemistry before district 8 even gets at tryouts!! Why don't they do it that way? Are other districts able to get more ice time together than others

Lots of 4 on 4 last night at D6, giving everyone a better look. One more night.

D4 concluded last night. Quite a few Shattuck kids made the team as one would expect. Some good talent assembled for sure. Not sure when they will post team but I will keep checking on it.

Can any Shattuck player qualify even if they are from out of state?

My understanding is that Shattuck players are considered residents of D4 and thus are eligible to tryout for D4. There are players who go back to their "home town" and try out there however. I believe between the Shattuck Bantam A team and the Tier 1 team they had about 9-12 players tryout.

Who looked good last night? I watched D3 once a couple weeks ago and I am wondering how they stack up against D6.

High schoolers are doing well among the bantams. AV's Michaelson and a cupla Blake skaters are making a good showing.

Have you watched enough to make predictions on who will make it?
