which is a better skate? i've heard xxvs are better

xxxx's seem to be lighter to me, never weighed them..

XXV's are best for the lighter player - say less than 150 lbs. They are a great skate for the youth player. XXXX's are a little more stiff and some of the components are of higher quality.
As a side note, both of these skates can be purchased right now at a huge discount at The HG.

Actually the X60's are the skate to get - they designed them more to the XXX's which were extremely popular due to their comfort and flex and will be a great skate for young and old. They come out in a couple of weeks.

There is usually a sale prior to the new model coming out. Most people know this. The 60's cost will be triple the cost of the new pair of XXV's that your kid will grow out of next year.

What about XXII's? Or should I just duct tape cement blocks to my sons feet?
