Final Five - (3) Wisconsin vs (2) Denver

Post by Lucia4President »

This semifinal game will take place on Friday at 2:07 PM. I'm sure the Badgers will have a decent number of fans in the X for the weekend.

Who wins, and why?

I would not want to play the Badgers. With Ruesegger out and some other injuries, I'll take sconny.

Badgers - 4
Pioneers - 2

Wisconsin loses to Denver they're done. Should they win (even if they lose to ND) they can still get a bid, but will need some help. BC will need to lose for sure.

If they beat Denver and lose to North Dakota, they're still done, unless there is a combination of games going their way. The problem is, they are currently 18 in Pairwise. They have to pass four teams which are ahead of them, because spots #15 and #16 are reserved for the winner of Atlantic Hockey and the CHA. Two of the teams just ahead of them (Ohio St and Minnesota) are done. Is it possible for Ohio St and Minnesota to drop behind Wisconsin? Sure, but I haven't found that combination yet.

Mitch, being your a Bucky fan, got a take on this?
