Section 3AA???

k yall i know its early in the season, but what are your predictions on who is going to make it to state,,, and do they have a chance at winning it??<br><br>my thoughts are too be wbl or hill.. but i wouldnt count out centennial just yet.. terrible goalie but know they have a good soph goalie that should be there starter by feb...<br><br>wbl- great physical team.. lack a natural goal scorer but i think once they find their groove, watch out!!<br><br>hill- great speed.. young goalie that has proven worthy.. i think if it comes down to hill and wbl.. my hats are off to wbl to take it in OT.<br><br><br> <p></p><i></i>

Right now with wbl not having played centennial yet i cant count them out yet, but heres my take. Right now wbl's defense and goaltending is awesome but they still lack the firepower the score goals. Once they find that missing piece to put the puck in the net they will be awesome. If they dont find that piece they will have to rely on defense to win games, inwhich case Hill would most likely outscore wbl, and i hate to say that<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :evil --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/devil.gif ALT=":evil"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> There are still 20 games left, and I can gurantee you WBL will find that spark to start scoring 4-5 goals on a regular basis. <p>The curse lives on.....</p><i></i>

alright i just face reality, and be realistic about things. Everyone will agree that in order to win great things you have to be able to score goals. Right now wbl is scoring goals but they need to come out right away firing and not wait until the end of the game. Section 3AA should definitly be a good one this year as Centennial and also a surprise Roseville being the sleepers may pull it off this year Roseville is holding his own without their best player in Michael Dorr. But unless the two favorites wbl and hm screw it up the door should stay closed for the sleepers but everyone knows <br><br><br>Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard <p></p><i></i>

good point hockeyfa.... centennial though has nothin right now,,, with bergren being brought back in the team is suffering, soon and bergren and vangilder get on the same line i think the offense for centennial will be improved, but u cant win championships on one line and 2-3 defensemen without a goalie... <br>if you can recall when they won state the had 3 lines deep in the forward and defense positions.. with what i call a "good goalie" (want to talk about over-rated) that team had 3 lines of forwards that played both ends! <br>so with that i still put the bears ahead and think its goin to come down to wbl vs hill, which who cares bcuz its goin to be a great game!!!<br><br>good luck bears <p></p><i></i>

Okay .... enough with this... There is no curse okay... it is a nice excuse that sugar coats the fact that wbl hasnt been able to get it done in the first game of state ok... so the only way wbl will be able to get past this is if people stay positive and stop blaming stuff on a curse...it is a piss poor excuse and there should be no more talk about it. enough said ... now section 3AA has been and always will be a great section ... I think the team who makes it out of this section (which will have a hard time doing that alone ) will have a great shot to win the whole thing... i will take WBL outta this section.... they are up there witht he best of them and they arent even close to what they can be...i only see them getting better as the games go on ... also we all know that the playoffs are nothing compared to the first 5 games of the season so anyhting can happen. <br><br>WBL is due <p></p><i></i>

I agree with what has been said here that WB will improve as the season goes along, and of course I'm picking them to win the section. Aside from Hill who I think is an elite team and will be extremely tough to beat in sections, I always get nervous about Roseville. I don't know much about their team this year, but they're just one of those rivals who no matter how good or bad each team is in a given year, they're always going to be a tough beat. <p></p><i></i>
