WCHA First Round - (10) Michigan Tech @ (1) North Dakota
The WCHA Regular Season Champion Fighting Sioux open the WCHA playoffs at home against the Michigan Tech Huskies this weekend. North Dakota (22-12-4) has been one of the hottest teams in the nation since January 1. The Sioux wrapped up the MacNaughton Cup with a win over Wisconsin in Madison Friday night.
Michigan Tech (6-23-7) had some luck against the Sioux this year, going 1-1-1 against them during the season. The Huskies managed to split with Minnesota last weekend at home.
Who do you think will win the series, and why?
I'll pick a North Dakota sweep.

Same. Huskies just can't put it together long enought to make a run to St. Paul. Norht Dakota is very physical and will when big both Friday and Sat.Lucia4President wrote:The WCHA Regular Season Champion Fighting Sioux open the WCHA playoffs at home against the Michigan Tech Huskies this weekend.
