Starting a thread before the game determining the match up is even over? That's real classy

I think you may be bitter... Yes, I apologize if I offended you, but with all do respect, 3-0 is hard to overcome in the last 58 seconds.

Just calling it like I see it; he didn't only beat me by three minutes, he beat the end of the game determining who played in the game the thread was about by three minutes. I had the thread all ready to go but didn't hit the post button until the game was actually over. Not mad by any means, no reason to be, but there's a reason we don't call games until they're actually over.

As for the game, I think no close outcome would be surprising.

Breck has a very good shot at winning. They are a very good defense team, holding a strong offense team in Duluth East to only 2 goals. They can also score.

Little Falls has shown everyone they have talented players and can score on anyone. But they haven't shown they can stop quality teams from scoring on them. They allowed 4 goals to Cathedral, 5 to Alex in 2 games, and 4 to mediocre opponents twice.

The most difficult thing about comparing these two teams is the lack of common opponents and the plethora of sub-par opponents on both schedules. I would say on paper Breck wins this game. If their good offense can actually shut down Little Falls, scoring on Little Falls mediocre defense wouldn't be too difficult. Games aren't played on paper and Little Falls could easily prove their offense is too much for any defense.

I hope I'm wrong:

Exactly their points! You're all pissed off because you took the time to type out the thread and thought you'd be really "cool" and have it posted right as the game ended. Then you found out someone called you on your bullcrap and started the same thread before you when the game was, for all intents and purposes, OVER! Stop whining!

LF's defense is mediocre? Did you see how they were playing like it was 5 on 5 when they were killing a penalty? They may have allowed 2 goals against Virginia tonight but they were because I'm sure they knew it was over and they seemed to let up a lot and play their lower lines.

Small Falls 5 (OT)
Breck 4

Small Falls will be able to score but will have trouble on defense. Should be a good one!

These semi's are going to be great games! I could see Little Falls having some trouble with Breck's team speed. Along with this, both goalies are outstanding. The breck goalie impressed me with his poise and positioning. I have never even heard of him before.
Anyway...

And i thought Little Falls defense played excellent against Virginia. Numbers 2 and 3 are studs. Not mediocre by any means.

LF is obviously a solid team, but I was pleasantly surprised by Breck's forwards tonight. I hadn't seen them play at all prior to tonight. Their powerplay is downright scary.

Should be a good one.

LF's defense is much improved over previous years judging by their performance against a very solid virginia team. Sperle also looks much better. I dont know very much about Breck but I dont think they can match the caliber of play that LF can bring for 3 periods. LF should be a little more cautious with how much they play Big Ben. If he plays half of the game again, he and the rest of the first line will be out of gas for the game that matters.

Good points. And it was nice to see Ben Dominate, and in the end of the game sitting on the bench watching the younger inexperienced players get some time on the ice.

My prediction:
LF-2
Breck-1

"The mustangs Defense must play ALOT better on Friday if they want to win."

Yeah, they're going to have to allow at least half the number of goals they did last night...

All I'm saying is that Little Falls is one dimensional, albeit a strong dimension, whereas Breck is two dimensional. Not sure if the one can prove to be strong enough for the two. Like I said, I hope so. It would be cool to see Little Falls go all the way.

I also wouldn't mind a private school final 8)

Breck 4 LF 1.

People don't realize how good Russell is because all they see is Breck blowing people out with amazing team speed.

Russell is an absolute brick wall, and Breck is about 7 times better than Virginia. They've won 22 straight. Only three losses coming against very good teams.

Ben Hanowski will get chances, but he won't post ridiculous numbers like he did last night. Russell is a better goaltender than Virginia's, and Breck's team defense and speed will eliminate alot of chances.

I don't know how Sperl compares to Lourdes tender, since I haven't seen either team alot this year, but I think it's only a matter of time before the huge amount of quality scoring chances Breck will get start to end up in the net.

This posts suggest that you're reason we don't do that is so you can start the thread.
