I've seen this Mahtomedi goalie play; nothing special. Schmidt and the Crusaders will shut down Mahtomedi's first line and contain Marshall and get the W. CRUSADERS 5, ZEPHYRS 2

Lourdes beat Cathedral in the regular season and I was privelaged to watch Mahtomedi play in the Schwan's cup beating a great Maple Grove club and then curb stomping Owatonna in the finals, i pick Mahtomedi in the upset

Don't know much about either team. Saw SCC play, and I am going to pick them because of their sick jerseys.

Didn't Owatonna come back and put the game 5 to 4. (still lost though)
So I wouldn't say Mahtomedi curb stomped them.

dude you must be blind. sta qorked maht in every aspect except mahts goalie played insane, if he keeps that up, they may win the whole thing.
ppl who complain about sta being A are just mad

Marshall got taken out of the X on a stretcher. He's done for the game, obviously. It was a result of that hit Schmidt put on him in the 1st.

Mahtomedi was clearly not quite as good without him. They have a huge uphill battle in the 3rd.

Tough loss for the Zephs but I'm with you (not a LF fan) and I'd like to see a Central MN final.

uugh.. Who turns the channel from the state tourney to CNN?

that's what I get for working in a large company I guess.

Tough loss for the zephs. Too bad about Marshall, he was clearly the best player on the ice for mahtomedi

Nice game by the Crusaders.. Palusky is a good forward I like him every time I see him play. Nate Schmidt was very good as usual.. too bad about the Marshall boy I hope he is OK.

It was a good, hard hit, but it was also the definition of a boarding penalty.
