Good news...... after months of having no signal, KCPM (channel 9 on cable one boxes) is back on the air!! This means the boys state tourney will be broadcast live again. I just checked and it is working.
I guess they had some motivation to fix it after last night
In the past I have called KCPM during the tourney to thank them for picking up KSTC's feed. They seem to really appreciate that. Since they seem to have worked hard to get this signal back in time for next weeks tourney, hopefully alot of Spud fans will call and thank them.

GO SPUDS!!!!!!!
Since I live in Fergus Falls, I could be in a bit of a predicament. I had the same signal issue, so I called Charter since the girls tourney wasn't on. Within a day they had the station up again. However, I'm not sure how much of the boys their gonna cover but I can buy the stream from KSTC if all else fails.
If there's any reason for me to move back to the cities, this is it. I just cannot continue to have this issue and miss out on some or all of the tourney. It was rather irritating to know I might have missed the girls' due to simply calling over a feed.
I did get done talking with a tech from SD. He said the games on channel 9 are being televised, but the schedule on the cable guide isn't up to date. All four days are televised. By chance you need to talk with them, you can call 701-364-9900 or 866-522-4008. For whatever reason I couldn't locate the number and landed on the FCC's website where I got the SD number. The station has aired the games the last seven years.

What network is KCPM????
It is an independant station with no affiliation. They basically put on the shows nobody else wants, but they always televise the KSTC feed for the state tourneys. That alone justifies their existence!
