Any predictions from the "Shady Bunch"? I am picking the Barnyard over the pesky Thunderchicks 4-3. Edge going to Brainerd with the all important home ice advantage. SOG 34 - 31 in favor of the 'Barnyard'. Interesting race in 7AA this season.

You Brainerd fans will watch history repeat itself. I've never seen fans be so cocky against a team they have NEVER beat. Rapids will win by atleast 6 Tuesday night. Jensen will put up the brick wall, Brainerd's forwards will think they hit a wall when they get hit by Stejskal, Smith, and Clafton. Oh, and it isn't the wind, it's White, Hicks, and Morse flying by.

GR19, No way the T-Birds can put up a 6 goal margin on the road in Brainerd. Granted they might score 6 (and win 6-5) but I think your assessment is off base a bit. This game is a 4 point game so both clubs will battle to the end. I am predicting a 1 or 2 goal difference and fans should expect nothing less tomorrow night. Rapids (one kid in particular) cannot stay out of the box of late and it will nip them again tomorrow night and cost them a win.

I don't know from my reading that Barnherd fans could be classified as 'cocky'. However win by 6, and in another thread, "hope rapids wins 10-0" sounds rather cockish. A 'pipe' dream maybe. I stand with my prediction that the game will start late. This is obviously why FOX isn't visiting the herdbarn for this one. V-gout will cover it for you, but you should pay up before the face off, and watch it regardless of outcome. Well, to someone on the outside you might think that. Let's just say I know some things about the team you probably don't. And it has nothing to do with whether you've watched them play or not. PS-Comparable opponent, need I mention it AGAIN, if you compare the Forest Lake scores, Grand Rapids is atleast 4 goals better than the Worriers. Also, the team last year, which you jls 81, referred to as having cancers on it, which I might agree, defeated Brainerd in two games by a combined score of 8-2. And that was with shaky goaltending. And, you are right about one player having penalty issues, but that is something that can be fixed overnight. Kranky, your wisdom is enviable. I don't ever work the box I guess I'm too busy hob nobbin wit the cheese bros. I don't think I can make the shootin of the old crow at pregame but I'll take a Shirley Temple after the warriors roast chicken. I did put a Black Bird on the weber this A.M. for GRape whine 19. It should be nice and tender about 10 tonight I'll bring down to Shep's so Mogy can serve it with a side of nuts.

GR19, you should not come on this board and proclaim this type of route in a game where both clubs have good goaltending, solid defense and good forwards your prediction prior to the game is unwarranted when both clubs have ability to compete quite well in 7AA this season. Brainerd is indeed better than that and you ought to show them some respect. Can rapids win ....yes but it will be a hard fought game for both clubs. Both teams on paper matchup fairly even with the edge going to the home team. You have to give Brainerd the forcasted edge in this case.....I wished this game was in Rapids hoewever it is not. No one is naieve enough to make accusations of a route in this type of game with about eqaul matchups. I believe that you do not actually believe your statement becuase it is ludicrous to make.

JLS 81, when there have been scores of 7-1, 3-0, 5-2, why should I expect something different, especially when Rapids is much improved. Also, why do you people think Brainerd is good on paper or improved. What have they done this season to show for it. A couple wins in the pathetic CLC and a 3-2 loss to Forest Lake. Talked to the famous Beaver Bob F. a half hour or so and he said there was a little rain in Grand Rapids.... Weather forcast is not good, but a big old bus should not have problems. Unless their a little scared. Check with GR19, he has an inside track to the GR minds.

Hey GR19 I caught some of the game early on driving up from MPLS-St. Paul around Mille Lacs. Good effort all the way around and the Barnyard had their chances it sounded like from what I could hear. Turned on kozy 1320 when I made Hill City and managed to hear that the Barnyard outshot the T-birds tonight. Is that true? If so than the key difference it seems is that Rapids has made a major improvement in net in 2005-2006. Maybe some of the fans at the game can give a us all an eye witness evaluation of the game.
