Well after seeing both teams twice this season I'm picking Blaine to win. I believe this game will come down to penalty's. If the Cougars can stay out of the box like Osseo did they can win. But if not the Bengals will make them pay.
It's simply...Blaine has a power play and Centennial doesn't!!!
Bengals win 5 to 3

Blaine has the 2nd best PP unit in the state behind Bloomington Jefferson, according to the stats on myfoxhockey.comFire and Ice wrote:Do you have the stats on that Shovel Shot or are you just making a statement?

I see now all of a sudden everyone has to verify why they believe one teams PP is better than the other???
No statement just my opinion from seeing each team play. But like they say opinions are like #@%#@ and everyone has one except for you I guess...

Hey F-Ice, whaddya just too lazy to look it up yourself??? If you'd ever seen Blaine's PP you wouldn't need any more data. But since you apparently haven't, here ya go. BTW, Centennial's special teams ain't bad either. My money's on Blaine for the W.Fire and Ice wrote:Do you have the stats on that Shovel Shot or are you just making a statement?

What is with PP & PK.
Seriously, why do most of these high school coaches run there best scoring forward on PK and double shift them the rest of the game. Give a good grinding senior or two with decent hands (who shows leadership and maturity) the special teams play of PK. Give your talented scoring machines a break. It makes not sense to me from my perch way up top in the nose bleed seats.
Does anyone else have any input on this. Coach Erik does this all the time with Pitty, I have not seen but two Blaine games does the cousin do the same?
