The 2-2 appeared to have better coverage for penalty calling. With the outside referee having no line responsibility, that official was continually watching play and caught things that would normally go unoticed.
As for the TV crew, they seemed to question many of the officials penatly calls during the broadcast. I'm not sure if they were making conversation or actually thought their opinion on each call or non call was needed?
The on ice officials looked to have the system well under control. I would speculate there was clear training for each position, and the people working state tournaments are more than capable of learning new systems on the fly.
