The schedule posted on the MH websites says that the games in Crookston on Friday are played in rink 1 on and on rink 2 on Saturday. Is that just a mis-print? It seems odd to me that a region tournament would be played in two different rinks. Even if they are under the same roof.
If that's true that would be GREAT. How to appreciate a region tournement any better than playing in a historic arena like Crookston's old one??

Big major flaw

The west region still has 2 games left?? Anoka and Centennial will not be together...Alex is already in with Wayzata and Moohead. Maple Grove has not qualified and congratulations to Woodbury on beating a very LSouth team.

How about the pools when everyone is qualified and done playing seeding games?

Congratulations to ALL Region Participants: Looks like a strong list of teams. I see a couple surprise's, but thats the case every year. I am predicting a few more upsets next weekend. should be fun..

The spuds won't even make it out of their pool. Centennial and Wayzata will both beat them. As for the other pool Rogers and MG will come out of there. Worst case scenario rogers plays wayzata who they have tied and beaten this year. This should be a very good regional tournament with 5 teams who have a very good shot at state:
Wayzata, Maple Grove, Rogers, Moorehead, Centennial
