Rochester Red is among the strongest teams statewide. They have balance and depth. Great Forecheck and strong defense.
Eagan is also strong in those areas with great goaltending as well.
Apple Valley is strong and physical with great skating and strong hands.
Haven't seen Burnsville....
Woodbury lost to Roch. Red in Districts 4-3 coming back from a 3 goal deficit. They lost to AV by one in a scrimmage and led at one point by a goal. They split with Eagan during the regular season 6-1 win and 1-0 3rd period loss. Just defeated Lakeville South convincingly 4-2, leading 4-1 until the final :22 secs. They are the wild card here, IMO.

Playoffs is about team play not individual performances.

I am a parent who also enjoys watching hockey...just wanted to know which kids are the top kids to watch on other teams. We play in D2 and have not played these other teams yet. We saw AJ from AV during AAA, but now he is playing HS. I just enjoy watching the top end players.

I like #10 from Rochester, if that kid a line mate that could finish, we'd be talking about his 100 assists. Otherwise, you have a bracket that is just solid up and down and any one of these teams is capable of winning it. Enjoy the hockey.
