Tides are turning in the high school hockey world. Hill Murray as handled White Bear Lake in recent years. I think quite a few if I remember right... I'd like to say I think Hill Murray will win this game, but I'm not as confident as I have been in years past. This will be a very close game either way. But, whoever wins will go to state. Might as well let Hill win then if you 3AA fans want 3AA to get past the 1st round...

Since these teams play in 4AA, we will just assume you have no clue what you are talking about. Go back to Compton!City of Compton wrote:Tides are turning in the high school hockey world. He's probably just used to them both playing in 3AA for so many years. Give him a break.BodyShots wrote:Since these teams play in 4AA, we will just assume you have no clue what you are talking about. For WBL to come out on top in this game. They need to come out flying, and get up early on the Pioneers. If they can get up early, and control the game by being the more physical team that they can be. I think they will be victorious in this one. If they let Hill hang around, and have a slow out of the gates 1st period, that they have a tendency to do. Then Hill has the edge in my mind. WBL also can't afford to have giveaways coming out of their own zone, that results in a goal for the opposing team. I've seen it happen too many times this year, including tonight against Moundsview. That gave Moundsview renewed life in the early 3rd, and would be even more costly against a team like Hill Murray.
After all of that. I'm going to say WBL scores first, plays a fairly mistake free hockey game, and doesn't spend too much time in the penalty box.
WBL- 4
Hill Murray-2

Ooops.. my bad, hockeyfan.. I wasn't clear enough in my post. I MEANT TO SAY... a former WBL A Bantam player, WHO IS CURRENTLY PLAYING DEFENSE FOR HILL MURRAY, will accidentally tip in a shot...wblhockeyfan8 wrote:You going with the underclassmen on this one then?Goldfishdude wrote:Yes... hockeyhockeyhockey..... Even though I have a journalism degree, I am at a loss for the right words in the way I want to say this, so I will seek the help of my pals Bodyshots or Medley or any other fine WBL fan...
I am trying to point out that having Schultzie deflect a shot to score on his own team will be the sweetest vindication, justification I can think of..

Ah I see! I was wondering why a fellow white bear fan would assume we would get the win off an accidental deflection.Goldfishdude wrote:Ooops.. my bad, hockeyfan.. I wasn't clear enough in my post. But yes, the ultimate vindication.

Don't harsh on Schultzie! He is a great kid. Sure, it's a shame he's a Pioneer, but he's still a great kid! And no, I'm not his dad!
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything.
