Does anyone have any thoughts about next years' bantam "a" season?

Roll back the clock to last years top A PW teams (07-08) and you will have a very good picture.

Do you think Edina will repeat next year from their PWA team last year?

To early to know if they will repeat, but odds are they will be very competitive and ranked throughout the year. As will the other top teams that were there last year.

Over 50+ games and slight lineup changes things will shake out.

Heck I am still excited about this years season with weeks to go for most of the best teams.

Only if they get a handle on their behavior. This year's Bantam A team obviously never learned. Last year's Bantam A team also blew their chance at State when they fell behind 2-0 to Centennial, early, and then started a stream to the box as opposed to getting focused on playing good hockey. You can't beat any of the top teams shorthanded. The top teams take almost zero penalties. So, for now, Edina not a top team. They have some nice players but obviously lack the smarts to figure out a style that works.

I feel this is a down year for Talent from what I have seen as an Overall Bantam Level. I feel next year will be even lower talent level, due to "A" Peewees seem down as well.

As discussed on other posts the majority of the consensus is the top teams are as good if not better than ever, but there appears to be a big disparity from top to bottom.

The top of A Bantams will be outstanding next year, but I think the bottom will have some challenges just like this year and many in the past.
