My old man is there waiting for the ladies game to start and told me the score, but failed to mention the period/time

Everyone had to clear the rink and come back in for the girls game....during that process the old man forgot the final score

Thanks anyways.
I'm listening to the LF game to see if I can catch some history. Hanowski's had a few good chances and hit a pipe.

You might need to download the little media player thing, but it doesn't take long.

Red Wing 2 Shots: 38
Hutch 0 Shots: 7
Hutch goalie played great; Red Wing dominated the game from start to finish.

No, I'm using the download-thing. You might have to go to "file-Play URL" and paste it in there.

Shorthanded breakaway. Talk about tying the record in style.
378...wow.
Nelson scores too.

Move aside, Mr. Pohl.
Ben Hanowski is the all time leading scorer in Minnesota history.

He scored a goal.
5-1 LF, mid-second. They've stopped the game to present him with a plaque.

tied it on a short-handed breakaway to make it 4-1.
tied it on an unassisted power play goal at 9:07 of the 2nd to make it 5-1.
spun around, fired it over the goalie's glove for the record.

Definitely. It would've been a bit anticlimactic if we'd had to sit around waiting for the assists to be awarded and announced to the arena.

He just got his 200th career assist too, as it's 7-1 now. All the goals by seniors on senior night.
