You remember her giving up some soft ones, do you? It's hard to doubt that, I suppose some weak ones are bound to get by when you play in the Section 7AA tournament for five straight years. But either way my question never received an answer. I just want to make sure. Duluth really did lose with a Division I goalie on the bench?

Anoka Blaine was OT - Anoka tied with 35 seconds to go but lost - Anoka lost 13 games by 1 goal of which 5 were in OT best team with a losing record in the state......

The Centennial game would have been a huge upset in a day of upsets.....

Hey Game Misconduct, good thoughts on the game. I agree with you. PHMSB 1st and 3rd. Duluth in the 2nd. I thought DULUTH'S goalie played very well. Oh ya, she is actually from Superior. DULUTH/SUPERIOR NORTHERN STARZZ

GOCARDS1 you beat me by a minute on here. Great game, it could have gone either way. It was 1-1 at the end of the first. The Cards came out lackluster in the second period and the score was 3-1. Third period Alex decided they wanted the win and played to show it, scoring two goals right away. Morris-Benson tied it up 4 to 4 at the end of the third sending it into overtime where Alex scored in the first few seconds to win.

Irondale knocks off Blaine 4-2. Irondale led 3-0 after 1 and scored early in the 2nd for a 4-0 cushion. Blaine took that as a wakeup call and ended up out-shooting Irondale 26-8 in the 2nd. They scored both their goals late in the second and went to the final break down 2. Irondale found their legs in the third and a few untimely penalties by Blaine did them in. Now Irondale gets a chance at redemption versus their nemesis Mounds View who beat the Kinghts earlier this year and knocked them out of the sections last year also.

Both teams played a great game tonight and Blaine just didn't get the bounces. Should be a barn burner on Friday...
