New style of play in JGB
A new strategy has been formed in JGB hockey that is being heavily utilized. It involves any time a player on the team touches the puck, he instantly ices it. This gives neither team any chance of scoring and really makes a joke out of hockey in itself. Minnetonka has absolutly mastered this strategy and you can see them using it in many of their games.

The joke in this game is the fact that the Wayzata team was not smart enough to figure out the game plan, simply out coached. Minnetonka was missing 3 skill players due to illness. We had a total of 9 skaters and had to play on the olympic sheet at PIC. We forechecked 1 man all game and actually had as many quality scoring chances, you only had a total of 23 shots and we were content to watch you cycle the puck deep in the corners and behind the net. Unfortunately neither of those are scoring positions. Again, not the smartest hockey players in the rink. For a team that sports a 14 and 0 record, not impressed with the ability to adapt to a different game strategy. You have feasted on teams in the lower half of the league thus far and you would think you would have more convincing wins. You better strap it in when you show up at Pagel, but beware, you may not be able to figure out that game plan either.Hash Slinging Slasher wrote:A new strategy has been formed in JGB hockey that is being heavily utilized. Are you kidding me?!?! Dont even start with equal amount of chances!! You had one MAYBE two quality chances the whole game!!! O and im pretty sure we picked up on ur strategy within the first five minutes. There is just simply no way to stop every ice you guys do. Im sorry but the only reason it was that close is cause ur goalie kept you in the game. Nothin to due with coaching or anything. We dominated the play, could have been 5 or 6 to nothin if it wasnt for ur goalie!!!
Im not sure a team with a 5-9-1 record or whatever u are has any business saying a 15-0-0 team is not good you clown. You are blind if u cant see we dominated that game. Your pathetic.

Old Man Jenkins. Seeing as Minnetonka has a horrible record (worse than it should), you would think that a 14-0 team like Wayzata would be able to figure out a way to score more than one goal against them. If other teams with worse records can figure out how to score against Minnetonka, then that says something about this so called "AMAZING" Wayzata team. I really don't feel that Wayzata is deserving of their record only cause they have played the worst teams in the league. I am willing to put money on it that they lose almost all of their games the rest of the season including the game against Minnetonka next sunday night.

its funny that minnetonka kids are talking because if i remember i think wayzata won the game? also a bad idea to talk because we probably wouldve gone into the next game thinking well this team pretty much sucks we just got unlucky with our scoring chances but now we are gonna bring the a game. see you next sunday
you know whats funny about our 15-0-0 record? we havent lost. so regardless of who we've played (which includes Edina Green, a 4-0 win, maple grove white 4-1, 4-0, both teams are at the top of the standings i might add,he number 3 and 4 teams in the latest rankings)) we havent lost. we can't help our schedule. all we can do is win every game we've played in. which we have done. to say that you had as many scoring chances as we did is the most ridiculous statement i've ever seen on the forums. Maybe if your good scoring chances equaled about 5 that we had so yeah lets see you had what 2 or 3? id say we had about 15. "were undefeated...." I'm glad you got us ready for when we come to Pagel though. since we would have probably been napping cuz you guys are a god awful team, we'll be ready. back to our schedule, in tournaments we have beaten WBL Orange twice, WBL Black once, Woodbury White once, Hastings Blue once. thats a pretty solid resume id say
