Spring Lake Park really took it to Totino last night. Totino has been a struggling hockey team lately and Spring Lake Park really took it to them. The Panther's goalie played stellar, and they were able to survive an almost comeback during the second period. The Panther's captain Josh Bevers took control of the game, scoring 3 goals and an assist.

I wouldn't say Totino is overrated, Spring Lake Park just took it to them last night and deserved the win.

exactly, Totino is a very good team, but SLP came out strong and handed them a big loss. This should teach Totino to be on their game every night.

I think it is a huge win for the panthers and a huge dissapointment for the eagles. Also with St. Francis beating St. Louis Park 8-2 2nd place in the North Suburban is up for grabs and it will be interesting to see who will finish behind Benilde (I don't see them losing). Not the best teams in the North Suburban but it is nice to see a little change from TG and Benilde stopping the rest..

is Nelson the same kid who had like 80+ saves in 2 games, at sections a couple years back?

Yes that is the goalie who helped SLP upset Breck in OT two years back and almost beat blake but came up short. But how is Bevers doing? I remember watching him as a sophmore.
