Going to OT. Fitting for how this game has been played.

I got to MyFoxHockey just as the goal was scored. Good timing and from the sounds of it an even better game. I thought about going, looks like I should have. Nice win for Edina, but another good showing for EP as well.

EP has one goal disallowed for reasons unknown, and a second called off after the puck hit the back of the net and out too quick for the three stooges too see. Good game, but more penalties should have been called both ways.

The reasons for the first goal were very known. The ref had blown the whistle before it went in not only that it was kicked in. Great game though back and forth.

The goalies on both teams were sophomores and both played pretty good.

Well maybe Edina isn't everything I thought they would be.. Eden Prairie must have played a very good game.

Looks like the Jags deserve to be on top.

You got to give Connor Girard a lot of credit in that game that was his first varsity experience ever, he had not seen a single minute before playing a very good EP team.

Brenden Baker and Matt Van Voorhis were out for Edina and that is their top defensive line so looks like Edina could still pull through with key players missing.

Looked like Baker was in to me? Heard they were only missing Van Voorhis (mono) and Ankeny (ill). The sophomore goalie for Edina was very impressive. Lots of pressure to start in a game against a tough competitor. Looks like Edina is very deep with all the lines working and the defensemen stepped up nicely. Really good game played by both teams.

so what your saying is that there are 4 stooges? I was right behind the net. If you are the person I think you are (the one with the 4 inch nose), your nose got in the way.

My question is why would the whistle have blown? It was a rush down the ice, and the puck went in. I didn't hear the whistle, and no one around me heard a whistle. The puck was not kicked in. Were you at the game, or did your nose get in the way
