Friday Night Hockey

Post by Messier »

Two great games tonight in the State of Hockey.

Edina @ Eden Prairie @ EPCC @ 7:30pm

And one of the best High School Programs in the country
Mt. St. Charles Academy @ Holy Angels @ Richfield @ 7:30pm

I see the Edina&EP Game is on myfoxhockey.com it is to bad that both of these games could not be seen by the rest of the state.

Anyone know how Mt. St. Charles is this year? Zanman?

Should be a couple of great games, have to watch Edina/EP later, but I will be going to watch AHA get back on the winning side again.

I do not know. I have not been able to check online to see.
Hopefully I will be there also to watch the STARS, my car is dead in the parking lot at work.

Lakeville S. 0-3-1-1=5
Century 3-0-1-0=4

South outshot Century 55-27. #10 for South received a match penalty for pushing an official in the second period. A South parent was also ejected during the same incident. Joe Faupel had a below the belt/groin area cheap shot that went uncalled that started the thing. Classless individuals all around.

the announcer for century thought he had authority and kicked out the upset parent for simply yelling at the ref. the announcers pants were way to tight. . . possibly pederastic

Nope. Down there it is common to play 6 periods of hockey, not 3, so therefore Lakeville ahead 5-4 in 4 periods, which is a normal 3 periods with overtime in all hockey everywhere, is really only about 2/3's done. How could you even think that might be the final? Just by looking at the BOX SCORE you could easily tell the game wasn't final. Silly Rapids fans...
Go Hounds.
