Congratulations to Sleepy Eye on their 6-5 win over Becker/Big Lake. This broke a 34 game losing streak going back to 06-07. They may be on the verge of turning the corner with their program. There's 11 sophmores and 1 freshman among their 15 varsity players (hopefully they all stay rather than defect to other towns). Their Bantam B team is 2nd in the west division of dist. 4 and their Peewee B team has a winning record. All good signs.

We ain't talking Roseau here, with a community that's filled with a long hockey tradition. 5 years ago they weren't even able to field a varsity team. The fact that they still have a youth program at any level is a positive sign. Sometimes you have to walk before you can run. I hope they can keep it going.

What does that matter. He is right. Without Bantam A hockey they see any real competition. Our freshman usually play Bantam A's.

wilmas goaltending good ?, what are you on sregit34, looks like a xmas tree getting lit up all the time, bigtime netmeinders win games they aint suppose to win, look at LDC last year thats why they went to state when Hutch, New Ulm, Marshall and wilma were looking in the rear view mirror,
Wilmas goaltending is weak at best
