Why can't they post all the scores on the website. Tournaments should have someone in charge of putting scores and brackets up. Maybe more people would come to the tournaments if they had an idea when the games are and who is playing who. Bloomington tournament was a little late putting scores up but they did. Sometimes people can't make it out to tournament and it would be nice to follow along as the games are played not look at it a week later. This go's for all tournaments not just edina. I just thought edina would have figured it out being the 40th year running a tournament.

Roseau doesn't quite have the horses this year. Chaska wins one of their last 10 in the metro and then have no problem with Roseau. Chaska was clearly the better team. More skill and better jump. Roseau probably not top 20. They're ranked 29th on the ranking site which is probably about right.

eagan 4 rogers 4
edina 2 marqutte 1
rogers 9 marquette 0
eagan 1 edina 3
Imo eagan was a better team spent too much time in the sin bin always tough playing edina at home. rogers will have their hands full tonight when they play the hornets.

Hockeyman,

so how do you feel MinnPark ranks after this tournament?

The blowout losses to East and Woodbury pretty much say, "you're not top 10 material". (losing 5-0 and 6-1 are getting blown out, sorry)

Do think this weekend will give the coaches a better idea of where to go make a run through the district (which I believe MP will win) and further in states?

I think they are probably in the 17-20 range right now. Their main problem they need to work on is consistency. They are obviously a very good team with wins over Rochester, Burnsville, Woodbury and I can tell you from watching the East game they definetly scared the Duluth players and coaches in the 1st period of that game by taking the lead and having many opppertunities to build on it but on the other end getting killed by Woodbury, losses to North Metro and Blaine and a tie with Hopkins show their problems with consistency. This is probably the team with the easiest road ahead with the weak district and region but they need to show better consistency to prove themselves. I think the St. Cloud tournament coming up should give us another look at this team against top competition as they drew Mounds View, Eagan, and Bemidji in their pool.

the problem i see with this tourney is... 3 nights in a hotel for three games that generally are filled with penalties taking more time from alot of kids. it should be a four game min. with the chance for 5 games. a team is much better off just scheduling 5 games to play and come home.

Not to mention that many of the strong programs did not show up for this tournament at the Bantam A level. Agree - money better spent buying ice and scrimmaging other top teams over a weekend round robin style - 5 games. Guaranteed all good games and time better spent - and bonus - no gate fees!
