it was a great game to watch. Both teams are very fast and hard working. Sartell should've had a goal with 30 secs left in the game, but it was disallowed. Overall, LF is definitely a top team in class A thuogh.

Sounds like Sartell is a much improved team. I listened on the radio and it sounded pretty close. What were SOG? Sounds like LF third period woes are continuing. That and they need Wesley back in the lineup. Anyone know how long he is out for?

He is going to be out for about a week. The puck hit the inside of his knee cap, the doctor said that everything is fine. He also said that since Wesley was so physically fit that nothing went wrong just a bruised knee, if it was someone else it might have shattered his knee cap.

Shots on goal

LF 34 Sartell 24

LF needs to stay out of the box, again last night they took 8 penalties. They can't keep spending that much time shorhanded, I think that could be part o their 3rd period problems is that there top 2 lines have logged so much ice by the time the 3rd comes they start to run out of gas.

Good points. It sounded like they were constantly on PK on the radio.

So you're telling me that in the last two games LF has taken 16 penalties?

it was nice to see yet another team give little falls a run for their money. who knows what could have happened if the goal was allowed and the teams went into overtime. nonetheless, both alex and sartell are biting at the heels of hanowski and company.

FYI - The goal wasn't DISALLOWED, the whistle had already blown the play dead when Sperl had the puck.

Yeah Little Falls is averaging like 7 penalties a game and have 8 in each of the last 2, and I didn't here any complaints about officiating in the sartell game so there just taking to many penalties.

Couture realizes it too. He has just implemented a new rule. 6 penalties or more in a game= bag skate the next morning. That should help LF cut down, as well as helping them get in shape for the third period.

Wow, great pic. It doesn't tell the whole story, but it definately says something.

If neither team could beat them when they spend a period shorthanded, its going to be hard.

yeah, great picture, however, when the puck entered the net, the whistle had already blown. The whistle had blown when Sperl had the puck. I was there, saw the whole "picture".

Question for you....Why didn't he have it in that pic? Looks like his defensemens stick is next to Sperls glove.

Yea I was at the game also and he had it long enough to get a whistle.

Alexandria beat Sartell 9-0. Should be an intense matchup between Falls and Alex on the 22nd

With the first game being so early in the season, and now with the two having some games under their belt this should be an interesting game. It should be fun to watch to see who rains on top!
