Breck (2-1) @ St Thomas (0-1) 12-9

Should be a good match up. Breck took it 3 years ago 6-4, St Thomas took it 2 years ago 6-0 and Breck taking it last year 6-5.

Looks like St Thomas 6-3? 8)

I think Breck will take it again this year. Their young talent and speed won't go unnoticed.

I agree, Breck has loads of young talent, and most of their players got a lot if not some varsity experience last year. St Thomas is still a very good team, but they are much different than last years state championship team. Possible preview of a championship game meeting. Ill take Breck 4-3.

St Thomas just had to go and score that last goal, ruining the trend, geez...

Very strange game. Breck outshot them 40-20 with Play mostly in the STA end. 0-0 after 1 and 3-2 after 2. The difference was all the bounces went STA's way and they did a great job on the Power Play. 4 of the goals were into a wide open net as the D broke down on odd man rushes. Also scored on a shot that was deflected not once but twice before catching the corner.

These are two very good teams and will be fun to watch in the spring.
