Burnsville 2
Edina 1
Burnsville out worked Edina from the drop of the first puck and played with a lot of heart. Edina looked horrible, not a very good effort, they should have sold some of their players tickets for all the spectating they did. Burnsville deserved the win.
What #'s for Burnsville looked good against Edina?

Is Maple Grove the same PeeWee A team as Osseo? I watched Osseo play Edina in the EP Tourney and they not only can skate well but they hit the snot out of the Hornets.

Duluth Lakers vs Wayzata
Crease:
How did this game go? Considering that Wayzata has been doing quite well as of late, what was the game like?

Wayzata vs Lakers
1st period was slower as the ice from the Junior Gold game was not resurfaced prior to the game. Wayzata came out and was all over the Lakers for the first 5 minutes, but then things settled down and the period ended 0-0
2nd period opened with a quick goal from the Lakers, and then another about 2 minutes later. After that Wayzata rattled off 4 in a row, I think 2 being short handed. Period ended 4-2.
3rd period was real back and forth. Lakers picked up a goal with around 8 minutes left, pulled the goalie with just under a minute left but could not get the goal for a tie.
I believe the shots were 21-19 and there was one weaker goal on each team. Overall very exciting game. I can see why Wayzata is ranked as high as they are. No weak players at all.
Lakers are coming into their own and playing better. They are a team that plays much better when they score on a team first.
