Goal leader for the year

Post by bardown30 »

With the loss of Budish this year, will Everson be able to continue to score at the same rate he did last year? 4 goals in 2 scrimmages today, which don't mean much but do show that he can still do it. If not him, who will lead the state?

I'd say he will score a lot of goals this year, but he won't lead the state. It will be someone from a school that doesn't play the tough competition like Edina does.

Agreed, Ben Hano will lock it, not saying he is better than Everson or who else you might think would win, but with a soft schedule and his ability, he pretty much is set for it, along with breaking the scoring record!

Ben Hanowski plays a horrible schedule and still will not come close to Marshall "The Dream" Everson. He will indeed miss the presence of Budish but people are underestimating the chemistry between Marshall and his younger brother Max Everson. They will have some great "Hook-ups" and lead them to the state championship.

Nobody from a "AA" school will lead the state in goals...

If you won't say it, I will. Ben Hanowski is better than Marshall Everson. Hanowski is a much better overall player and NHL central scouting obviously thinks so, consider Hanowski is an A player in his 1st eligible year to sign and Everson was passed over last year and is a B player this year.

Your argument is solid. Plus, Hanowski plays an A schedule. He should rack up more points for more than one reason.

Hopefully, Hanowski can stay healthy. I believe he has had some groin problems.

You probably didn't notice him because he only played half of the games! Maybe you check on this stuff before you rip on the best forward in the state.

Just because of the schedule he wont be...... but if he played a schedule similar to Little Falls, he would be.... no question
