From the looks of it, it appears to be a message in Canadian - hard to decipher, though....tomASS wrote:could you please restate? I'm not certain I understand what you are trying to say. As far as i know he has only been turned down once.tomASS wrote:I saw him play this summer and he looked to be very solid and could have probably been the starter this year. Seems like a great kid. My son got along with him well as did most of the players.michaelfloorwax wrote:Maybe tomASS could confirm but I'm not sure that the transfer went through..I heard MSHL said no to the request to transfer?? He played in 11 games as a soph and was 1-8 so I'm not sure that will scare anyone in the Lake.notorious17 wrote: Chaska just got a new goalie from shakopee
Played varsity since he was a freshman and was in selects his 15's. He's only a junior
His transfer was turned down 1 or 2 times by MSHSL. I think he wants to try one more appeal.
If he would have physically moved into Chaska he would not have this issue.
If he moved to Chaska, it is not an issue at all. There is no need for an appeal. We would welcome him with open arms. Don't leave it in the hands of the MSHSL to decide his fate. Make it a no-brainer.notorious17 wrote: As far as i know he has only been turned down once.

he hasn't always made the best decisions- I hope that if this move works for him it goes well for him because he is a nice kid for sure- I 've heard some talk of the issues as to why his appeals have been turned down- not sure about all the details so if anyone else has any info on this

i think burnsville wont be as bad as people think.. They still have a solid first line(last years 2nd line of King,Pearson, may) They have 2-3 capable goalies(sturlaugson, herkal, schlink). They also got winger dylan kes from holy angels varsity. As well as a very good JV team from last year coming up.
Personally my pick is jefferson, eden prarie, or apple valley

im going to agree with jefferson being the best team in the lake conference. Burnsville has a very good first line but you cant count on those jv kids to be effective enough to win the lake.

You are probably right on Jefferson. I don't share the same belief of Burnsville. They will be a middle of the pack team at best.
Jefferson is absolutly loaded with young talent. Faust and LaBombard are two of the captains and are very solid along with a very underrated little man in defenseman Jeffery Pauluk. This team also has quite a few sophmore forwards who contributed big time and Herbert was hurt for most of they year and jumped right in the mix at the end and looked very good. Lets see what the young stud can do if he stays healthy all year. As far as I'm concerned if lindquist can't do anything in the lake with this team....than he'll have some problems with alot of people. The Jags restored the roar last year after their first losing season in many years 2 years ago and this i believe we'll see the jags thrive again.
Can't wait to see and epic section title battle of jefferson vs. edina (knock on wood)

I agree that Jefferdy looks to be a potential to win the Lake. They have a lot of solid players and certainly have loaded up with some 'outside' talent over the last few years. They lost some goaltending but they do have some very experienced Juniors that should help them offensively. With EP losing so many players to other programs and Jefferdy benefiting from players moving in, my nod goes to Jefferdy to lead the conference this season.dynamicD wrote:Jefferson is absolutly loaded with young talent. My vote goes to Jefferson as well. Doubt EP will be a threat - lost most their quality players to either private schools or Junior programs or Shattuck - and Burnsville will probably not be a major contender either (not sure about their sr. class but some of the juniors are very light). If Herbert stays healthy he will add a ton to Jefferson's offense - rather surprised he wasn't named a captain? Guess we'll have to see the goaltending though before we really know.

What happened to Josh Levine? Don't see him on the Princeton Roster.Doglover wrote:My vote goes to Jefferson as well.
