Warroad Pre-Season Hockey Jamboree November 21-23th

Post by Bouchard92 »

Who do you think will take the tourney?
The teams that I think are in it include Warroad, Cambridge, St. Michael/ Albertville and Holy Family (Correct me if I am wrong)
Does anybody know any other teams involved?
I know there is a similar tourney next door in Roseau and I heard some teams play back and forth, although i dont know which ones.
Any thoughts/info?

this is a wierd topic. Obviously these are scrimages and are not indicative at all of what the teams will put on the ice come regular season...

I know that STMA is playing in both also. Obviously Warroad and Roseau are much better teams than the others, but it should be fun for the small city schools to play up north with the big dogs.

No one said it was. I would venture to guess that 95% of this bored is speculation, that's what makes it fun.

i said it was a wierd topic and it is because he asked who would win the tournament. First of all it isn't a tournament and even if it was, who cares who wins? half the games are played by jv'ers.

Cambridge-Isanti varsity went 3-2-1 and jv 4-0 had a super time playing in the hockey towns of the north..... should be made an annual trip.

Little Falls went to both Warroad and Roseau. Beat Warroad, Holy Family, East Grand Forks, and Grafton. Tied Roseau 0-0, and lost to GF Central in their 6th scrimmage 3-2. A very respectable showing.

well cambridge beat alex 3 to 1, warroad 3 to 1, holy family 5 to 0, and played their 3rd line against low who scored all their goals on that line, and put their jv up against stma and they won. there only real loss of the weekend was to roseau.
