If you seen the last few issues of let play hockey you may have seen an add for Prosept Academy. They are an up start hockey program that says they are going to offer clinic and have AAA teams.
They do not say who is running the program. Not in their add or on the web site. With a little bit of digging we have found there is a reason why. The program is be run by the same guy that was putting together the Jr. Maverick a few years agao in the southern part of the state. This guy is now the manager of the Orono rink. He collected money for the Jr. Maverick ($7620.00) and then took off with the money.
The Bantam plaintiff list had 14 families on totaling $3200.00
The Peewee plaintiff list had 15 families on totaling $4220.00
Be careful!!!
Buyer Beware!

As Jackstraw said, this guy has never been affiliated with the (Southern) Minnesota Junior Mavericks AAA organization based out of Albert Lea. The Junior Mavericks are a well run organization and one of the oldest independent AAA organizations in the state, albiet not at the caliber of the Blades, Machine, etc..

I think we need a link to verify this.iceman23 wrote:You would be wise to stay along way from Prospect Academy There is a good reason the guy does not put his name on anything to do with this program. He is still running from the last poeple he ripped off. His name is Steve Kampf the rink manager at Orono.
