If not WCHA caliber.. then where??
Obviously the WCHA is the best conference in the country, but lets say a player doesn't have what it takes to play in the WCHA, what other teams/conferences are the next best thing than the WCHA?

Sinbin, you are so ignorant to the state of college hockey if you think the WCHA is "obviously" the best conference and the others are step down in talent and ability. You sound like a Minnesota high school supporter who doesn't understand why kids leave for juniors when we have the best of the best right here for 3 of your 24 high school games!!

Uh, would you like to re-read the posts above? I don't believe I ever uttered such a phrase
. Thanks for the complement, though. It sounds like you've read all of my posts and have assessed me quite well
. I'll just add ignorant to the end of a very long list of names I have been called
.

The WCHA is obviously the best conference in college hockey. If you're arguing that...maybe you're the ignorant one.jancze5 wrote:Sinbin, you are so ignorant to the state of college hockey if you think the WCHA is "obviously" the best conference and the others are step down in talent and ability. The most successful college hockey program over the last 10 years doesn't hail from the WCHA, it's Boston College. Check the frozen fours for the last 15 years and you'll see a couple WCHA dominations, but for the most part, the Maine's, UNH's, BC's are there as much as the DU's, UND's, U's...the reality is the parity is more than anyone in Minnesota wants to admit.

Are we talking about best team or best conference?Tenoverpar wrote:The most successful college hockey program over the last 10 years doesn't hail from the WCHA, it's Boston College. Look at NCAA tourney appearances for each conference over the same time period...tell me what you find.
The WCHA is easily the deepest conference in college hockey.

The NCAA tourney appearances over the last 15 years is a tie between Hockey East and the WCHA.Goldy Gopher wrote:Are we talking about best team or best conference?Tenoverpar wrote:The most successful college hockey program over the last 10 years doesn't hail from the WCHA, it's Boston College.
