Didn't get to see all of the games (long commute to hotel - Airshow weekend). Bemidji did pretty well with some key players missing (Rees,
Rassmussen, Hadrava, Nemgar) and new coaching staff (also missing, parent with coaching experience stood in). Look forward to the new season (no hurry for winter :D ).

I saw parts of some games & none of others, I thought holy angels looked very good saturday of what I saw, St.cloud did'nt impress, but just saw a little of them, dido on what somebody said about schmidts play. Bemidji was a surprise, played everybody tough. BSS looked very good at times & lazy at others. Marshall will be tops in 7a again unfortunately. Andover looked good also from what I saw, except on the overtime goal winner in the semi's. warroad looked good against g.r. at least the first period, to good to be in the early game, they still spend to much time in the p-box. did'nt get to see a lot of g.r. but what i did see, & what boblee saw must have been when I was'nt there, because they better hope they were missing some guys, other than rendle, those def. looked slow or lazy, with no hands, would'nt make easts jv team, & the forwards looked like ice mites at times running into each other, heard they were missing about 1/2 dozen top players though. Iam sure they will be in the mix come regular season.

Have to say AHA. They brought the most skill and played the best throughout regardless of the results. Their players can really move the puck and they have very solid goaltending.

Who looked the best: It's hard to say. Marshall was given tough games by both Bemidji and Andover. I think Marshall played well enough through two periods to beat AHA, but was holding on in the third period. Ironically, Marshall got 3 goals in the third period. I think AHA moved the puck better then anyone in the tournament. I was impressed by Andover, and I think SCC is a team that will get a lot better. I was unimpressed however by Warroad.

Marshall had more depth this tournament then the last and is relying less and less on the 1st line, and getting production from the second line.
