Boof has to go.
Slowey may have saved himself Friday.
Kubel can hit Grand Slams. (thats 5? in the last 3 years)
Brian Bass is the worst major leaguer I have ever seen.

When they all get healthy, you have the following starters available:
1. Livantana
2. Boof
3. Baker
4. Blackburn
5. Slowey
6. Perkins
Liriano may not be ready this season, we will see.
Should one be sent to the minors?
I dont think so.
Trade one for a hitter.
Do a Delmon Young type deal.
Maybe we could pickup a.....ah, lemme think now..... how about... maybe...........another Jason Boofin Kubel!
Yah gotta be kiddin me.

The first All-Star voting update is out, and it looks like Morneau & Mauer are within striking distance of a starting spot (although Morneau has a long way to go to catch Youkilis).
To me, the big news here is that Jason Kubel is nowhere to be found as a top 5 DH, and I think we can all agree that this is an injustice that to be rectified. So, I'm calling on all of the Minnhockers to make this right, and vote, vote, vote, and keep voting for JASON "BIG PAPI WHO?" KUBEL!
C'mon folks! Here's your ballot... GET OUT THE VOTE!!!

KU-BEL! KU-BEL! KU-BEL! KU-BEL! KU-BEL! KU-BEL!

Pitching is very scarce.
boblee, remeber what Carlos Silva signed for?
I dont know what Boof's trade value is but it makes no sense to keep him in the minors.
Re: post 10412
According to this, the Boofer is getting one more start and then heading to the bullpen to make room for Scott Baker. He's not going to the minors at any point because he's out of options.packerboy wrote:Absoboofinlutely.boblee wrote:Would anyone even want Boof?

This may not be a horrible move. It'll get Brian Bass the hell out of here, and Boof seems to have the ability shut some lineups down for a couple of innings anyway (as long as it isn't the 1st). Hopefully he can use it as a chance to work on getting his curveball down - he's effective when he does that, but can't get it there.

If I can get offered $21 million
over 3 years, so can Boof. But
hey, I didn't want it, one year
at $4.25 million was better.

One can only aspire to reach such lofty heights. CNT is one of the lucky few.
especially with a Jason BOOFIN Kubel slant!
