Interleague Play: Time to Make Hay

Post by Irishmans Shanty »

While many fret about the recent series with Toronto, they are failing to recognize the opportunity that is at hand. Discussions today probably are about the demotion of Boof, the firing of Ullger, and the inability of the bullpen to shut out the opponent well into eternity. Since the Twins returned to playing competitive ball back in 2001, they have become the Titans of Interleague play.

2007: 11-7
2006: 16-2
2005: 8-10
2004: 11-7
2003: 10-8
2002: 10-8
2001: 10-8
totals 76-50

Interleague Play, Time to Make Hay.

who else do we get at home besides the brew crew?

nevermind, its Washington June 17-19 and Arizona 20-22

Arizona is good, and the brewers games are always close but besides that, the rockies, padres, and nats should be series wins. Horrible teams

I'm with ya Shanty. Time to put the hammer down with these "hay" seeds.

Blackburn once again is doing great.

As much as I thought the Twins would go 18-0 in Interleague play, I knew better. Being perfect isn't easy, if just by fluke or bad luck, I knew the Brewers would get them at least once.

16-2 will be a fine interleague record.

Should've trotted Livan out there for all 3 games to bolster the offense.

Hard to make hay when your offense and relief pitchers look like this:

Nourishing rains have fallen and can return again, but a little rain dance from our Animist friends at the north end of 8A would be appreciated.

We got a lot of weather, locust, fungus and who knows what else to contend with before Harvest Time. Twenty-four dates with the AL separates the Twins from the Washington Nationals and the rest of their sisters. Can the Twins be balanced come harvest time? We shall see.

Doesnt look like they are making hay in that pic looks like they are knocking down some wheat which will be ran through a combine again and then baled into STRAW

That is a combine with a straight header on it.
With these fuel prices I don't think any one would combine twice.
