First off, the lengthy rain delay gave me a chance to watch the game, a big thanks to Mom Nature for that one.
Secondly, I did get the AFLAC trivia question right last night. What rookie Twins closer had 20 some saves in 1980?
Thirdly, Livantana and Cargorii's efforts were greatly appreciated as they do their part to start a fresh row of hammers.
Finally, more beautiful weather for the Twins in Chicago. Today is looking like another dandy, break out the thong if you'll be in the bleachers today.

5/7: MIN 13, CWS 1

I'm pretty sure it was a general sentiment toward the female attendee's and not current bored members, unless DMom is tuning in.....UpNorthStars wrote:Irishmans Shanty wrote:

Earlier this season I was watching an Indians game and the announcers were discussing what any man with small hands wants discussed about him on TV. These guys couldn't get over how small Travis Hafner's hands were. Based on the paw that is clutching that King of Beers, Hafner has to be in the top photo.

I was going to nominate Lawton for the #50 spot. Wasn't Rich Becker #25? Where is he on this bogus list?
I saw Jim Edmonds was released today. Too bad our outfield is stacked.

Who's the career journeyman?DmanDad1980 wrote:Thanks Govs,
It did seem obvious to me...
Career journeyman over a future HOF pitcher...
They were voting for individuals, not teams, right...![]()
Sorry Shanty, doesn't fit...
A) September 24, 1998: Signed by the Anaheim Angels as an amateur free agent.
or
B) July 2, 1995: Signed by the Houston Astros as an amateur free agent.
December 13, 1999: Drafted by the Florida Marlins from the Houston Astros in the 1999 Rule 5 Draft.
December 13, 1999: Traded by the Florida Marlins with cash to the Minnesota Twins for Jared Camps.
January 29, 2008: Traded by the Minnesota Twins to the New York Mets for Carlos Gomez, Philip Humber, Deolis Guerra, and Kevin Mulvey.
I do think that Santana is the better choice for the Best Player for #57 over K-Rod, just wondering who the "career journeyman" and the "future HOF pitcher" is.
